About KY CARDS

At Kentucky Center for Anxiety and Related Disorders, we help people move beyond anxiety and OCD by teaching practical, evidence-based skills that lead to real, lasting change.

Many of our clients are thoughtful, motivated, and capable. They’re just tired of feeling stuck in cycles of fear, worry, or self-doubt. They don’t want endless reassurance or vague coping strategies. They want a clear, supportive path forward.

That’s what KY CARDS was created to provide.

Our Story

KY CARDS was founded by Dr. Kevin Chapman, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and diplomate certified by the Academy of Cognitive and Behavioral Therapies.

Through years of clinical work, research, and clinician training, Dr. Chapman recognized a gap in anxiety treatment: people were often taught how to cope with symptoms, but not how to change the patterns driving them. KY CARDS was created to provide a focused, skills-based approach rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and exposure-based care.

Today, KY CARDS serves as the Louisville regional clinic for the National Social Anxiety Center, reflecting our commitment to specialized, evidence-based treatment.
