Sports Performance and Mental Conditioning
Athletes lose performance to anxiety in specific, recognizable ways: the yips, competition nerves, a confidence drop after injury, or a practice-to-game gap where training numbers never show up on game day.
Mental conditioning treats these as trainable skills. Attention control, pre-performance routines, arousal regulation, and recovering from mistakes mid-competition all respond to structured work.
Parenting Anxious Children and Teens
Parents of anxious kids get caught in a bind. Comfort the child and you may reinforce the avoidance. Push too hard and everyone ends up in a fight before school.
This program teaches the middle path: how to respond to anxious behavior in ways that build tolerance instead of accommodating fear, and how to stop the family patterns that quietly keep a child's anxiety in place. Parents attend without the child.
Program Highlights
Understand the dynamics of anxiety and how it affects children
Learn effective strategies from trained experts to decrease accommodations and increase support
Connect with other parents facing similar challenges

OCD Support Group for Existing Clients
A facilitated group for people already in OCD treatment at KY Cards. It supplements individual therapy; members stay in their regular sessions too.
Exposure and response prevention asks a lot of people, and doing that work near others doing the same work makes it more sustainable. Members share what has been hard, what has moved, and what they are working toward next.

Training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Clinicians
This program is for practicing clinicians, not for patients seeking treatment.
We provide CBT and exposure-based training for therapists building genuine competence in anxiety and OCD treatment. Exposure therapy is widely endorsed and unevenly delivered, largely because clinicians are rarely trained in it properly.
If you are interested in training, please submit your contact information so we can learn more about your goals and discuss next steps.
We will follow up within 48 hours.
