Evidence-based care for anxiety, OCD, and related concerns across development

Recognizing Anxiety and OCD in Children and Teens

Anxiety can affect how kids feel, learn, sleep, and connect with others. For many children and teens, anxiety and OCD show up as avoidance, meltdowns, reassurance-seeking, perfectionism, irritability, or physical complaints like stomachaches and headaches. Parents often sense something is wrong long before a child can explain it.

KY Cards provides evidence-based treatment for children and adolescents using developmentally appropriate CBT and exposure-based strategies. We also involve parents when helpful, so families can support progress at home without unintentionally reinforcing anxiety.
