About Me
As a mental performance coach, Kaite has experience
working with athletes across all levels of competition, ranging from youth sport to intercollegiate
athletics and believes the stressors to be unique between various levels. Her High Performance and
Exercise Science backgrounds assist in a complete understanding of sport and exercise, which aids in her
holistic training style. As a lifelong multisport athlete, herself, Kaite empathizes with athletes and
exercisers wanting to improve their crafts, and she believes continuous education and improvement is
necessary to avoid stagnant lives.
Outside of the educational and professional domain, Kaite teaches cycling classes and is a certified instructor on behalf of the American Red Cross. She enjoys working toward her own fitness goals by running, weigh training, and practicing yoga. She is fascinated by all things sports and considers herself a sports junkie. She is on the mentoring team for Women Leaders in Sport, in which she guides current female students (or recent female graduates) in developing their careers in the field of athletics. Kaite also is the co-founder of the Kentucky Resilience Lab, a graduate student-led group that publishes podcasts and social media posts for local athletes to help in the improvement of their mental games. Kaite has been a member of the Association for Applied Sport Psychology since 2018, during which she has attended two national conferences, and a member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association since 2020.
Rapid Relief, Lifelong Change!
“With Dr. Chapman’s guidance, knowledge, patience and his well thought out program, I can state that I would recommend Dr. Chapman and his CBT program to anyone suffering from any types of anxiety, depression, panic, and/or OCD symptoms. I have partaken in therapy treatments such as Psychiatry, various medication regiments, and even hypnosis, none of which found to be as successful as the CBT treatment provided by Dr. L. Kevin Chapman. My life feels renewed and I owe it all to Dr. Chapman!”
